Saturday Night in a Box

Saturday, around 10:30PM. I'm on my way to the office. The motorcycle I'm riding on passed by the City Plaza. Their having a program (not sure if it's a post-New Year event or what) and a night-till-dawn disco. Teenagers crowd and flock the streets while the disco lights tend blind my eyes.

When I arrived, I did what I have to do to get ready for work. Now, I'm alone in this four-walled room, waiting for a customer's call. My mind went back to what I saw earlier. Young girls wearing micro mini-skirts, tubes, and other almost-nude apparels; guys with overly baggy jeans and porcupine-like hairs. If I'll let somebody with a very run-of-the-mill mindset compare my situation between what they're having outside he'll surely say that I'm bored, teens out there are enjoying, and I should be painting the town red too. Yes, I may be working while they are having fun. But in contrast, I'm not bored- not at all. Frankly, I might get bored more when I'm in the plaza. Funny? You can say that again. Really sounds weird but that's what I will surely feel. I don't find it diverting. It will just waste my time and energy- dirty dancing with people I don't know, having a conversation with a friend while the two of you are shouting because of the over-maximized volume of the music, drinking the bitter-tasting beer, etc and etc. It's not my intention to offend people who love doing these kinds of stuff, but we have different perspectives. You might love a certain setting, but another one hates it. I just think that I'm not being productive when I'm in the middle of that scene. I wanted to do something that gives me a satisfying result, rather than dancing all night (which I'm really bad at, in the first place). For example, writing this blog / article / diary entry, or whatever you call this, gives me a gratifying output. You can see that I'm just writing what I want to write. I'm writing out what I feel and it truly gives me satisfaction.

Time check: it's now 1:42 AM. Less than 30 minutes to go and I'm off. Off to bed? Naah… I'm used to graveyard shift; I've slept all day so I really can't consider going to sleep as an option. Where can I go? A close friend is coming over, thankfully, to accompany me in this very big box where I'm in. And are we gonna stay here till morning?Well, it will strongly depend on what we decide to do. We, as a matter of fact, have different outlooks. He loves discos and parties. I don't. He drinks beer a lot, though he always say he's only an occasional drinker, but not for me. I feel dizzy when I drink even half a glass of beer. He always has reasons why he's doing this and that, and in fairness to him, he sounds reasonable most of the time although I still do not blend with what he believes in. LOL!

Okay, here he comes. Gotta go! Good early morning!

YouTube Blunders

Audio Recording, video, pictures, youtube, myspace, pop-ups, social networking, flash, and on and on. Not to mention the recent purchase of YouTube by Google for a hefty $1 billion
YOUTUBE & GOOGLE VIDEO Sticky websites are the main tool for today's content site managers. Nobody is really using this technology to enough advantage on interactive TV to its full effect, but that is exactly the principle YouTube operates on: serving adverts during transmission.

YouTube is still developing by leaps and bounds. The focus of the buzz around YouTube was the public-availability of self-made videos.
Nevertheless, the initial YouTube press hype focused on the impact of viral video to make a product or a band or a job-seeker or a politician popular (or unpopular). The advent of new technical advances, such as the video sharing sites such as YouTube, gives you access to a new generation of web users to help develop your brand but you will need to get the basics of your Internet commercializing strategy right first before you venture into these arena.

The new 'social' search based methods now being utilized by companies such as Yahoo, YouTube and Wikipedia are now routine amongst the internet, as people strive to see ways of communicating with the outside world in an attempt to bring everyone closer together in the search for an escape or dose of internet reality.

An analysis of Google"s acquisition of YouTube included the observance that with the fragmentise of program television, there were $67 billion in annual advertising dollars out there in the hands of people who are unsure where to place them. YouTube and Google Video are first stops - you'll find personal movies, bits of TV shows and other delights on these sites.
There are thousands of videos on YouTube that are works of comedic fiction, humorous commentary, amateurish entertainment of every stripe. As a result, the market is characterized by rampant experimentation, with free content being posted on such places as YouTube.

These video recordings are seen and seen by around 20 million YouTube visitors every month. It is a pretty essential thing that you should probably take care of before you see those funny videos of those wacky individuals on YouTube.
You can forget all the pronunciation killing textbooks, just head over to YouTube or iTunes for some real learning fun. By using a solution that combines all these Wimpy clients into a single transparent application, and which also allows visitors to review the uploaded audio or video files, you have at your disposal just the tool you need to make a YouTube-like site complete with visitor reviews.

Due to its extremely viral nature, YouTube is a great tool for internet marketing. YouTube has taught us simple yet clever video can take on a life of its own with buzz.
Youtube and otherwise such sites have been yielding buzz in the video delivery service area and has millions of viewers. On Google Video and YouTube, for example, you can watch all sorts of videos and movies that are streamed to your computer.

But on YouTube people will post comments on the videos. The movie companies are much touchier about the Internet, as shown by the one billion dollar lawsuit filed by Viacom against Google - now the owner of YouTube.
